Digital Technologies
The questions increase in complexity throughout the paper and encourage the use of higher-order thinking skills. ICAS Digital Technologies will challenge students in the following skill areas:

Science
The questions increase in complexity throughout the paper and encourage the use of higher-order thinking skills. ICAS Science will challenge students in the following skill areas:

- Reasoning/Problem Solving
Mathematics
The questions increase in complexity throughout the paper and encourage the use of higher-order thinking skills. ICAS Mathematics will challenge students in the following skill areas:

- Algebra and Patterns
- Measures and Units
- Space and Geometry
- Chance and Data
English
Students will read a variety of texts which narrate, describe, explain, argue, persuade and review. The texts will increase in complexity within each paper as well as from Introductory Paper to Paper J, moving from simple texts dealing with familiar subjects and topics to complex texts discussing abstract concepts and using sophisticated language structures. Skills area include:

- Vocabulary
